Welcome to Craigmore Christian School

CCS is a vibrant and growing community. Established by the Craigmore Christian Church in 1981, the school now has over 400 students from Reception to Year 12. As a school we seek to partner with parents to provide students with an excellent education in a safe and caring Christian environment.

It is our goal to assist students to reach their full potential spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially in an environment that is informed by the gospel values of Jesus Christ as understood through the Christian Bible.

Craigmore Christian School provides students with a range of opportunities in a well-balanced education. Children in our junior years are well schooled in the fundamentals of learning. As they progress through the school, students participate in a range of subjects that include the practical such as Food & Hospitality and Design & Technology, the expressive such as Art, Drama and Music, to the Sciences. Students at Craigmore Christian School secure apprenticeships and gain entry into TAFE and University. As part of their studies all students are presented with the gospel and also examine a wide range of contemporary social issues in the light of the Bible.

At Craigmore Christian School we seek to provide students with a safe and caring environment. Through partnering with parents, and by applying a firm and fair behaviour management strategy, we seek to create an environment where students are able to learn, explore their gifts and talents, and form meaningful friendships.

Ever since Craigmore Christian School was established we have worked hard to be a place where young people experience the love of God and the freedom to chase their dreams. With the support of Craigmore Christian Church and in partnership with parents, this is a goal we continue to uphold and towards which we strive.

Mr Rob Ellis 26/3/1956 – 18/2/2012 We would like to advise our school community and supporters that on Saturday 18/2/12 our Year 4/5 Teacher Mr Rob Ellis died as a result of a motorbike accident. To staff he was a friend and colleague. To the students he was a teacher. To Wendy and Joshua he was a loving husband and father. Rob loved God and was a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ.
